Weekend Schedule
We have a whole weekend full of fellowship and fun planned!
You are invited to join any [and all] of the gatherings at Timberline Lodge; or, feel free to forego the group activities and choose your own adventure: read a book fireside, soak in the history at the museum, wander the self-guided Timberline art tour, play a game in the Barlow Room, indulge in some hot tub time, go play outside, or just relax! Be sure to be back in time for your scheduled snowcat ride to the ceremony at Silcox Hut on Saturday!! We'll let you know which of the three snowcats you will be on after you RSVP here on our website.

7pm-9:30pm
Welcome Dinner at Timberline (Hosted). - UPDATE: We've reserved the entire BLUE OX for our group - one of Ian's favorite spots at Timberline! Wood fired pizza, beverages and salad are hosted. Bar drinks are not hosted, so please plan to purchase these items separately. The Barlow Room is next door for fun and games. Nordic Sweaters and cabin cozy.
After dinner
Moonlit pool and hot tub time at Timberline Lodge
Saturday 5/17/25
Arrive 10-15 minutes early to your scheduled Snow Cat ride to Silcox! Meet by the lower level fireplace, near the hotel guest check-in desk. We'll let you know which of the three snowcats you will be on after you RSVP here on our website. NOTE: If you are staying at Timberline Lodge for only Saturday night, you might not be able to check in until after your snowcat returns back to Timberline Lodge after the wedding (9:00pm, 10:00pm or 11:00pm).
What to wear: Something classy. Pointy heels are discouraged because the rustic stone floor is very uneven at Silcox Hut... plus, there will be snow - yay! Don't forget sunglasses and a coat for the snowcat and for possible outdoor group photo(s).

UPDATED! Optional morning adventure... An exclusive blacksmithing demonstration with Timberline Lodge’s blacksmith, Darryl Nelson. This is a rare opportunity with this talented craftsman. You will find Darryl’s work throughout Timberline Lodge and the Silcox Hut. Darryl uses traditional style and historical techniques to blend seamlessly with the 1930’s original metalwork at Timberline. Some brunch snacks provided.
WEAR: natural fibers (i.e. cotton shirt and jeans, etc) - avoid synthetics which can melt next to the heat. Also, wear closed-toe shoes.
WHERE: at the historic Summit Ranger Station Blacksmith Shop near Gov't Camp (South across HWY 26 from the Summit Ski area/rest stop, near milepost 54).
